About Jack:

Jack is the beginning of my love for the Miniature Schnauzer breed. Born in Northern Ireland, we moved back to the US in 2007. Jack was over vaccinated in order to keep his European passport valid. His health is ok. Jack is the reason for switching to raw. I took him to the vet on 10 May 2015 with concerns about Cushing Disease; something that Miniature Schnauzers can develop. Blood work was drawn and his levels were all good. But...he had this pot belly. He was being fed 1/4 cup of senior dog food twice a day. I couldn't reduce his food any further or exercise him any more than what was currently being done. I felt desperate. I told the vet that I was even ready to give him Hill's food if she felt it would do Jack any good with his belly. I had to do something. I suggested raw to the vet but she frowned on the idea...saying it might upset his gut. I went against the vets advice and tried raw. Within 1 month, Jack has lost his pot belly! He's healthily slender and has a waist again! No problems with the switch to raw except he did throw up twice. Skin, coat, eyes are all good. At first, he had more energy but I'm noticing his energy levels decreasing. His teeth are becoming whiter with reduced plaque however, his breath is horrible. I think he has issues with his digestive system and I've been giving him probiotics capsules I got at the vet's office. It has helped but there has to be an underlying issue. Today I'm going to try Kefir. I found a vet who advocates feeding dogs raw and who also practices holistic medicine. I want to try the Kefir first but if his breath doesn't clear up, I will make an appointment.

About Dexter:

Dexter is a rescue. When he came to me he had been fed a mixed diet of absolutely anything, which left him with a sensitive stomach. Any slight changes to his diet made him have an upset stomach.  I was feeding him James Wellbeloved kibble which was the only thing that didn't upset his bowel movements. In December 2014 I decided to switch to raw (Nature's Menu nuggets of mixed varieties). Since changing food he has lost a little weight and is now his natural weight (he is a slight dog), his coat is so much shinier, his teeth are getting cleaner (as before they were almost brown) and he thoroughly enjoys mealtimes. His energy levels have increased as well

Disclaimer: I'm not a medical professional and the advices I provide are based on 15 years of private research and personal experience with raw feeding and different natural remedies for keeping dogs cancer free. I always recommend seeing a professional veterinarian (preferable a holistic) if you suspect any health issues with your pet.

I lost a dog to cancer and I was determined to never let that happen again, which is why I provide this information. Too many pets die from cancer and I know it can be prevented in most cases and many lives can be saved.

All I want in return is your story. I'm building an archive of success stories that will hopefully show other pet owners that there is a natural approach to beating and preventing cancer.

If you decide to follow what I suggest, you do this entirely at your own risk.

Please Read

Over the last 15 years, I have helped pet owners make the switch to raw food and I’ve helped owners that have pets with cancer to beat the disease using a natural method.

I have built up a reputation and the sheer number of owners that need help has become overwhelming. I'm doing this alone and I'm spending every free minute of my time helping pets so they can live long, healthy lives; that's my life mission.

Sadly, I have to limit the ones I help. It breaks my heart to do so because I know what a horrible feeling it is to have a pet with cancer – I have been there. I am only able to help the ones that take part in my research project. My research and the documentation of the benefits of raw feeding, plus the many stories about how alternative natural cancer treatments and prevention
