Around four of five months, we stopped giving Paso kibble with his raw meat. It seemed to make no sense. We give Paso a raw meaty (usually beef) bone several days a week. We feed mostly chicken, beef, turkey, eggs, and sardines. Just started trying out chicken hearts and gizzards, and he likes them! He typically rejects beef liver for some reason. I'm working on trying to find more game type of meat, like rabbit, venison, etc - I really need to vary his protein. Hard to find cheaply, though. I have also considered trying commercial raw food - the stuff in the tubes.
I truly believe that raw feeding is the best way to ensure your dog or cat lives a long, healthy life, and helps them ward off cancer and other diseases. Paso is so beautiful and we get compliments everywhere I take him - probably because he's not overweight like everyone else's dog! He has tons of energy and bright, white teeth. I tell everyone I can to stop feeding their pets kibble. Additionally, we are waiting to neuter him until at least 2 years - I also believe that spaying and neutering before maturity causes cancer and other imbalances.
